Tredegar Surface Protection has an exciting opportunity for an Extrusion Technician to join our Production/Manufacturing Team!  Responsibilities & Duties: The Extrusion Technicians are skilled in the production of plastic film in order to achieve maximum output of high-quality products for use in packaging and electronics applications.  Responsibilities include operating extrusion equipment, packaging, roll handling, forklift operation, housekeeping and process/quality checks.    ​Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: + A high degree of alertness in order to identify safety. process and quality problems in assigned production area. + Good listening and communication skills required to accomplish assigned tasks. + Good written communication skills are required to document process conditions and facilitate the transfer of information as required. + Ability to acquire, retain and accurately implement a thorough knowledge of production processes. + A degree of independent judgement. + Ability to promote a positive work environment. Qualifications & Skills: + High School Diploma or equivalent. Compensation: + The starting pay rate is $25.95 per hour.  The shift differential for working nights is an additional $1.30 per hour.
