In this role, you will be part of a team of industry marketing strategists focused on understanding the challenges and market dynamics facing the broad Industrials sectors and putting in place messages that get to the heart of what our clients are facing. Employing a digital-first mindset, you’ll have the opportunity to plan and execute the direction for the Industrials marketing programs aligned to the service line strategic goals and revenue plan. Working closely with content partners, you’ll develop insights that challenge thinking with greater focus on business implications, driving lead-gen activity and maximizing impact. You’ll work agilely with enabling teams to codevelop and coordinate go-to-market programs and one-of-a-kind client experiences aligned around key audience issues and themes while leveraging clear, data-based metrics to optimize audience reach. We are looking for an innovative mindset and self-starter with strong business acumen who is strategic and collaborative. **Your key responsibilities:** + As part of this industry marketing team, this role is responsible for building and implementing service line marketing programs and strategies to enhance connectivity and cross-BMC teaming – this role will also fold in alliances programs as it makes sense for sector and service line priorities. By engaging with the service line and alliances teams, you will have the opportunity to connect with a broad array of marketing strategists, understand the marketing programs underway and design ways of teaming to support the sector strategies and goals most meaningful to the industry. + In addition to developing collaborative relationships across the BMC organization, this industry strategist will have the opportunity to work with subject matter experts, relevant client-serving professionals and specific account teams to drive close connectivity with the business. + This role will team collaboratively with both the IP and the AD&M sector strategists to help them create a thread between the sector priorities and service line priorities. This could take shape in plugging sector leaders into service line events, teaming on case study development between sector and service line, building pipeline of joint thought leadership across sector and service line and more. **Essential functions of the job:** + Leverage and collaborate on sectorized service line thought leadership, proactively engage BMC specialty groups and COEs to drive program deliverables, project manage programs and drive relationship building efforts. + Tightly connect across service line BMC teams to understand marketing programs and then work with sector teammates to design and execute an integrated industry marketing and service line plan in alignment with firm priorities, alliances, and evolving market opportunities + Support the development, execution and measurement of cross-channel marketing campaigns to promote select partnership solutions. Tactics to include digital paid campaigns, webcasts, video, thought leadership, content marketing, SEM, SEO, events, presentations, email campaigns, internal newsletters, events, sponsorships, among others. + Enhance integration across BMC including industry, service lines and other programs to enhance coordination + Be the first singular point of contact for all service line and alliances BMC as first touchpoint on the team; with discretion on when to bring in sector leader and strategists **Analytical/decision-making responsibilities:** + Work with senior leaders and service line partners to develop plans to effectively communicate strategic objectives and initiatives. + Create, develop and manage the project scope and schedule for multiple simple-to-mid-level post-campaign reports, driving data-based insights and spend decisions. **Knowledge and skill requirements:** + Professional services, service line and/or sector marketing experience + Marketing, digital marketing, social marketing, demand generation, thought leadership, video development, content marketing, event marketing **Supervision responsibilities:** + Receives general direction + Supervise staff and oversee the work of others, including internal and external creative agencies + Critical to this role is the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, drive consensus and action. This includes developing relationships with project stakeholders, market-facing teams and support resources. Collaborate with colleagues in the Alliances team, across Service Lines and Sectors in the Americas **Other requirements:** + Travel as needed and flex schedule to accommodate calls with stakeholders and team members across varying time zones **Education:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience **Experience:** + 7+ years previous marketing experience successfully managing multiple complex projects. Alliance/partnership marketing experience preferred + A thorough understanding of digital content development and delivery principles including social media, paid campaigns and website optimization + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a proficiency in converting complex technical concepts into compelling market messages + Experienced in B2B marketing, with substantial experience in professional services preferred **What we offer** We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $72,100 to $134,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $86,600 to $153,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
