What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting all stages of a platform's program lifecycle, from development to sustainment and modification. You'll be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, collaborating with various engineering disciplines to ensure efficient and effective aircraft production. We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized candidate with demonstrated technical proficiency and capability. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for successful collaboration across various departments within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing plans and concepts.
- Support full-rate production standup and post-delivery sustainment activities.
- Collaborate with shop floor personnel, design engineering, quality engineering, and other disciplines.
- Implement corrective actions, processes, and procedures.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working closely with operators.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, and a strong work ethic.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relatable experience in absence of a bachelors Degree
Experience interpreting Engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturability
Desired Skills:
STEM Bachelor's Degree
Previous manufacturing/operations experience (2 to 5
years)
Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling
Demonstrated experience or desire to be in an
Operations role indicated by expressing interest in
‘hands-on’ applications of engineering and
manufacturing principles
Experience working process improvement and corrective action efforts
Strong ability in written and verbal technical communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
