SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Specialist will work with inventory personnel, in conjunction with the Senior Supply Chain Specialist, to ensure that all proper AAR policies and procedures are followed, including inventory control and distribution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Inventory Analysts to ensure appropriate inventory quantity is purchased. Verify that all material ordered is consistent with AAR and customer requirements. Help to ensure that all current inventory and surplus sources have been properly explored prior to placing purchase order with OEM. Review and resolve rejected or undeliverable material in a timely manner. Perform tracking and expediting function for repair quotes and open repair/exchange orders. Experience in international shipping and receiving Respond to customers’ requests for quotes and information in a timely manner. Update IMOPS with appropriate information. Review and resolve invoice discrepancies. Review backlog reports to ensure timely shipment and invoicing of customer orders. Interface with MIS, accounting, credit, product line and QC to ensure customer satisfaction. All other duties as assigned.CORE COMPETENCIES
