The Boeing Company is looking for a **F-22 Entry Level Software Engineering IT Technical Specialist** to join the **F-22 Mission Systems** group located in **Berkeley, MO** . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The successful candidate defines and validates requirements for new and revised engineering computing hardware. Researches, develops, analyzes, designs and tests software systems using engineering and scientific principles. Performs trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users. Develops and deploys new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, including documentation and training. Troubleshoots user problems related to hardware, software or processes. Develops system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes. Facilitates integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements. Facilitates and coordinates activities with internal and external customers, vendors and suppliers (COTS providers, sub-contractors). **Position Responsibilities:** + Assists with the development, documentation and maintenance of development tools and environment + Troubleshoots development environment tools and environment + Coordinate and close reported pipeline reports in a timely manner + Work in Agile development environment + Continual research, development and support of tools, scripts and code to enhance the software development and build environments + Coordinate with security and other development/partnering teams + Test script changes and tool implementation for the development environment before deployment in pipeline **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)** **This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):** + Associates degree or years related work experience or equivalent combination + Experience in version control tools such as git, Bitbucket, etc. + 1+ years of professional experience in application development + Experience with at least one high level languages such as, python, perl, rust, Java, C#, or C/C++ Experience with desktop and server operating systems + Development experience on Linux and Windows platforms **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills + Knowledge of Jira, Jenkins Bitbucket or other CI/CD pipeline tools + Knowledge of Artifactory **Typical Education/Experience:** Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. **Travel:** Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%. **Relocation:** This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
