Program Summary
KBR is seeking a Test Resource Manager (Journeyman) who will provide Test and Training Systems Management support as well as acquisition related support to the F-22 program office. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening). Proficiency with developing presentations and written documents for executive-level review and consumption is a must.
Job Summary
Successfully hired candidate will provide critical management of the F-22 Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) activities supporting both Developmental and Operational Test Raptors.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide support in the identification of all factors that must be considered to perform the acquisition of production, maintenance, upgrade, supportability improvements, and modernization of the F-22 Test and Training SystemsDevelop innovative solutions to complex problems spanning all functional areas of acquisition, to include best practices from commercial industry such as Lean and Agile principles.Apply critical thinking across all facets of duties, assisting the customer in optimizing program execution through traditional and non-traditional approaches to developing and delivering capability to the user, while demonstrating adaptability and flexibility to manage deadlines and change.Provide support for strategic test resource planning, to include, but not limited to, Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) resources for known and potential future test programs.Interface with Weapon System Prime Contractor and Subcontractor, laboratory, headquarters, test, and user communities to provide support for strategic test resource planning, to include, but not limited to, known and potential future programs.Uunderstand components and relationships of Weapon System Prime Contractor development, operation, weapons, and live fire tests IAW AFI 99-103.Interface with Weapon System Prime Contractor and Subcontractor, laboratory, headquarters, test, and user communities to provide support for strategic test resource planning, to include, but not limited to, known and potential future programs.Provide program management support for F-22 Test Resource activities, to include, but not limited to, system end of life migration, Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System integration, Joint Simulated Environment, and F-22 training systems. The Contractor shall provide support for aircraft disposition as required.Provide support for efforts to include, but not limited to, test and evaluation strategy development, Weapon System Prime Contractor RFPs, proposal evaluation, contract negotiations, and contractual oversight.Basic Qualifications
BS / BA in related field is required and 10+ years of directly related experience with a minimum of three years of must be within the DoD Or 15+ years of directly related experience with proper certifications, with five of which must be in the DoD U.S. CitizenPreferred Qualifications
