Summary
HII, Inc. Mission Technologies is seeking a Program Manager to support the F-135 Propulsion PMO, Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO) in Arlington, Virginia. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in DoD acquisitions and experience/knowledge of aircraft propulsion systems.
Essential Job Responsibilities Management of the Propulsion Production Team in the execution of areas of production build management, supply and quality, and the acquisition management of the full rate production contracts. Oversee cost, schedule, performance, risk, and other programmatic aspects of assigned projects to ensure program requirements and expectations are met including continual assessment of program risks and opportunities to reduce cost and schedule growth pressures and realize efficiencies as early as possible. Management and monitoring of a multi-disciplined team including identifying areas of improvement when necessary. Monitor supply chain risks, coordinate procurement strategies, and ensure acquisition requirements are consistent with aircraft production requirements. Oversee contract administrative functions including Performance Incentive Fee (PIF) allotments, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) agreements, delivery status notification, input to priorities and allocations process, and staffing of formal Contract Change Proposal (CCP) and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) concurrence. Minimum Qualifications 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelor's in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience. Experience/background in DoD Acquisitions. Understanding of aircraft propulsion systems. Understanding of the PPBE process. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to prepare documents and brief senior leadership and stakeholders. Experience leading a diverse team and ability to delegate and provide consistent expectations of team. Clearance: An active secret security clearance is required.
