Job Description The main objective of the F&B Supervisor is to assist food and beverage management in overseeing and supervising assigned areas in the F&B department. Provide training, direction, and assistance to associates. Ensure service delivery and F&B offereings are served and presented in a timely manner, in accoredance with company and Department of Health standards. Ensure food and beverage operations are seamless when ocurring on assigned shift. Responsibilities + Supervise the operations of all the outlets (Restaurant, Pool Bar, & OTC Coffee Shop) + Ensure all stations and knowledge of menus required for proper services are ready + Open/close outlets according to hours of operation + Stations set-up and breakdown; supervised side duties being done + Must have full familiarity with menus of all the outlets + Must have full knowledge of beverages offered + Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws and certified T.I.P.S. + Greets and seats guests + Acts as server/DRA/Host as needed + Informing guests of daily specials + Must be able to function as cashier in any of the outlets + Service to the guests in the restaurant, lobby, bar and room service + Perform any other duties as assigned by restaurant manager/Director of Food & Beverage + Must be proficient in Open Table, Synergy, ALICE, Micros and OPERA + Must be able to handle all guests disputes + Must be able to handle associate disputes and/or disciplinary action + Process AP invoices for different vendors. + Coordinate and sign up new F&B employees for serve-safe certification. Qualifications + Must have significant mobility of arms and hands. Must be able to bend, squat and push, pull and lift up to 25-30 pounds. Must be able to see, hear and communicate verbally in writing. + Individual must be a good listener, effective communicator and detail oriented. + Individual will be expected to meet deadlines, work with little supervision and be flexible to handle interruptions. + Individual must be literate, have extensive verbal, mathematical and writing skills. + Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished, oral or diagrammatic form. + Must have strong, positive guest and employee relation skills. + Minimum 1 year of related experience + Must have Food Handlers Ceritification.
