The F119 Customer Support Engineer for the Systems  group will provide day to day field troubleshooting for the engine, provide support for onboard engine software by developing requirements for implementation, perform Maintenance Awareness, modify engine manuals, and much more.  The position works closely with F119 bases, USAF representatives, partnering companies and many internal customers.

What You Will Do:

Provide technical support, develop requirements, coordinate field releases for F119-related support systems, including Engine Test Cell, Engine Interface Unit, Engine Control Monitor, and onboard engine software.Author and update F119 EMS GuideResponsible for all on-condition field issues involving engine systems or multiple engine modules and assist with troubleshooting new and complex issues; document and record issues for referencePOC for all F119 engine support systems, acquire and disseminate lessons learned with USAF and other P&W engine programs and coordinate support system integration issues with Lockheed Martin and Boeing

Qualifications You Must Have:             

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university w/minimum 8+ years of experience OR advanced degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university w/minimum 5+ years of experience.​Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
