The Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Sr. Master Scheduler (MS) will provide daily planning and guidance to the HMC value stream consistent with the established schedule to facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in support of production delivery schedule. 

What You Will Do:

Provide daily short- and long-term planning of engines/modules; utilize SAP, Excel, and DOME tools to plan inductions and control shop work-in-process (WIP) levels.Monitor gated metrics and communicate impacts to the schedule; maintain and report HMC performance data; update production status boards (physical and virtual).Facilitate communication between operations, materials, and quality at the shop-floor level to ensure priorities are clear; participate in daily production meetings as required to communicate schedule requirements.Build and maintain productive relationships with USAF OC-ALC counterparts in support of the HMC.Actively participate in continuous improvement system. (Including implementation of TPM, QCPC, MFA, standard work, process certification, etc.); lead and/or participate in complex planning, data projects and parametric studies

Qualifications You Must Have:                                                                               

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or and advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.3+ years of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project as well as SAP is required.​Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenshipTravel, over time, and weekend work schedule may be required.

         

Qualifications We Prefer:

2+ years’ experience in shop operation, maintenance/ repair/ overhaul preferred; experience using SAP, Configurator, CEMP and/ or other similar Technical Engine data base systems, is a significant plus.Operational experience in MRO engine facility is a significant plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Proficient in MS Excel including, formatting workbooks and sheets, creating and editing formulas, data management, data archiving.Successful candidate must be able to work independently on a wide variety of tasks; must be detailed oriented, and data driven; must be a good communicator across many levels of shop operations and senior management; must be able to balance multiple constraints to schedule work to achieve required engine turn-around-times.Successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to the Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and International Trade & Compliance (ITC) programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all EH&S & ITC committee activities.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
