This position is in Military Customer Support & Services (MCSS), a division of Pratt & Whitney’s Military Engines sustainment organization.  This position is strongly integrated within the Customer Support Engineering (CSE) space, and interfaces with seven different technical teams that comprise that space.   While this role is centered on sustainment for the F135 engine, there are additional responsibilities in supporting the Engine Core Upgrade (ECU), a development program where CSE is spearheading efforts to capture the respective engineering impacts to our sustainment work.  There are also project management responsibilities in supporting CSE’s work within F135 Engineering Assistance to Production (EAP).  

As a Control Account Manager (CAM) and Level 3 Work Based Structure (WBS) Supervisor for F135 CSE, you’re a highly effective team member working with technical team leads, Program Management Offices (PMO), and supporting organization analysts from Earned Value (EV) and Program Planning & Scheduling (PP&S) to ensure program financial commitments are met. 

What You Will Do:

Monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and investigations, Monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs), ETC management and effective communication with the Program Office to disposition risks and opportunities, Monthly variance analysis reporting (VARs).Maintenance of an integrated master schedule (IMS).Leading the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) efforts for all contracts where CSE is selected for an interview.Completion of monthly Top Drivers in the L3 Work Based-Structure (WBS) ownership capacity.Supporting the overall programmatic business rhythm for baseline activities, monthly reporting, status communication, and overall Earned Value Management (EVM) performance of your spam of control. This can include generation of monthly VARs for current period and cumulative performance of Control Accounts.Coordinate and implement the process for ensuring all information received and provided to/from the internal and external customers is readily available for program use. Identify potential financial risks and challenges that may affect the project and develop strategies to mitigate them; assist with interfacing with technical team stakeholders to provide technical, logistic and administrative support for Program Management Office.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in relevant project management in a military or civilian environment with experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or integrating project or program cost, schedule and progression.Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

        

Qualifications We Prefer:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.  Excel, PowerPoint and Word are all integrated to various degrees in monthly rhythm deliverables and project requirements.Proficiency and/or significant experience with the software systems of SAP, Primavera, WebEVM, and/or OneView.Experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking to cost and schedule.Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or equivalent Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.Excellent communication, organization and investigative skills required.Experience within the military contracting space or more broadly within Department of Defense programs.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
