FA Team Lead, Payment Network Development

The Team Lead Developer is a hands-on engineering position responsible for leading all aspects of software development as it applies to fulfilling business goals and strategies.

Collaborate with team members in all phases of the SDLC

Mentor and assist more Junior members as needed

Work with network administrators, systems analysts, and third party support staff to assist in implementation, and resolving problems with software products or company software systems

Write business requirements from end-user input and execute requirements into software systems

Assist in software development project plans, including scope, schedule, and implementation

Basic Qualifications:

Technical:

5 years of related experience and Bachelor’s degree or 9 years of related experience and high school diploma/GED

5 years of experience with C# and .NET framework/.NET Core.

3 years of microservices architecture and distributed systems experience.

3 years of backend development, including API design

2 years of TCP processing experience.

Payments Infrastructure Knowledge:

3 years of experience with Payment gateways or Transactions processing or card network schemes

Leadership:

2 years of proven experience as a technical lead or engineering manager, with a (2 years? Move second part to Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of leadership and engineering experience and bachelor’s degree.

Ability to mentor and develop engineering talent and drive a culture of curiosity to continually improve our capabilities.

Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Experience working in an agile environment.

Familiarity with industry standards like PCI compliance and secure data handling.
