Your expertise will contribute to the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our aircraft. **Key Responsibilities:** + Aircraft Interior Installation: Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors, including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and panels. + Compliance and Quality Assurance: Coordinate with supervision and inspection teams to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA regulations, and quality specifications. + Material Tracking: Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign-off work. + Tool and Equipment Management: Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment, and maintain shop equipment and tools properly. + Preparation and Installation: Prepare and install aircraft interior items in accordance with company procedures and quality standards. + Hardware Application: Remove and re-install nut plates, inserts, and other fasteners used in aircraft interiors, ensuring proper use of hardware and fittings. + Safety and Housekeeping: Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions promptly. + Support and Adaptability: Assist technicians with aircraft maintenance requirements and adapt to sudden schedule changes. + Process Improvement: Work with lead and higher-skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma and other techniques. **Qualifications:** **Required:** + High School Diploma or GED. + 2 years of applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience. + Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation. + Proficiency with hand/power tools and equipment associated with installation and removal of interiors. + Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift. + Computer literacy. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. **Preferred:** + Experience in the aerospace industry. **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech Commercial, we are committed to creating a supportive and dynamic work environment.
