As an Avionics Installer, you’ll play a critical role in the assembly, installation, and testing of avionics electrical components. Your work will directly contribute to the functionality and safety of advanced aerospace systems, impacting the industry on a global scale.

What You Will Do:

As an Avionics Installer I, you’ll assist in the installation and maintenance of avionics electrical systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Component Installation: Assist in removing and installing avionics electrical components and systems, ensuring adherence to blueprints, engineering drawings, and regulatory requirements. Fabrication: Help fabricate wire harnesses, perform terminations, and execute electrical system modifications. Testing & Troubleshooting: Participate in functional tests and system diagnostics to ensure components are working efficiently. Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate logs and records of tasks completed, including installations and tests performed. Safety & Compliance: Comply with all safety regulations and programs, including tool control, FOD (Foreign Object Damage), and 5-S practices.

You’ll be an essential part of a collaborative team, working under moderate supervision to meet critical timelines and ensure high-quality installations.

Qualifications You Must Have: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: Entry-level position; six months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience is preferred. Skills: Basic knowledge of avionics systems and electrical installations. Familiarity with reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematic diagrams. Proficiency with a multimeter for electrical testing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.  Preferred Qualifications: Certification: Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or successful completion of a youth apprenticeship program. Experience: Experience with aircraft electrical assembly or avionics installation is a plus. Computer Skills: Basic computer and software knowledge. Why Join Us?
