As a Fab Equipment Maintenance Technician at Micron, you will have sustaining ownership of advanced semiconductor processes in a high-tech fabrication environment known as the Fab. In this role you will address issues that deal with the logistical nature of wafer transfer activities. Other responsibilities will include documentation, metrics dashboard development and communication of non-standard events. Duties will include executing to project plans, evaluating quality of materials, and supporting logistical activities of the operations to ensure quality and output of the final product. You will work cross-functionally with team members specializing in operations, equipment, and other areas and collaborate with support groups to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
Support all logistical activities related to job responsibility!Develop metrics dashboards using tableau and call out for any concerns.Understand, follow, and improve detailed procedures, processes, and best-known methods.Learn and apply the vital technical expertise for your area, including equipment and process interactions, upstream-downstream effects, and potential impact to device performance.Apply systematic troubleshooting methodologies to determine root cause.Review and disposition product, targets, and tool or process qualification dataInvestigate and resolve area holds.Provide input to continuous improvement projects.Identify, contain, document, advance, and resolve deviations from accepted practices in systems, tools, and processes.Recognize and react to repetitive deviations and advise engineering where partner concern is needed.Accurately and systematically document and communicate all executed work.Accurately prioritize tasks to meet the needs of customers.Learn and utilize specialized software.Demonstrate basic presentation skills and meeting etiquette.Successfully implement both team and individual assignments.Enforce to all established safety policies and procedures.The ability and willingness to be flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed.Experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Basic understanding and accurate application of statistical process control principles.Basic understanding of mathematical concepts and problem solving, at least to an algebraic level.Basic understanding of physics and chemistry concepts and principles.Basic knowledge and understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
