Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Fab - Machine Operator 2nd Shift at our Arden, NC site! Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 2:00am Monday - Thursday. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour, plus a $2/ hour increase for 2nd shift. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** **Job Summary** The essential function of the machine operator is to perform technical fabrication operations on raw materials throughout the Fabrication Department using metal processing machinery. **Job Responsibilities** A. Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations B. Receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from Supervisor C. Perform initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines D. Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts E. Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings F. Complete necessary paperwork and system transactions G. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation H. Inspect final component against work specifications I. Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment J. Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders to maintain equipment K. Provide on-the-job training for new Operators L. Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily M. Complete any other assigned tasks from management **Qualifications:** **Required Qualifications:** · High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution · Must live within a 50 mile radius of Arden, NC.
