You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Data Analytics and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS. In this challenging function, you will help our business units to identify and develop strategic data-driven use case opportunities. As a Fabric and Power BI Platform Enablement Manager at the ZEISS Digital Partners, you are part of our Enterprise Data Platform team and collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Owners and Partners to drive digital products. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and use of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI within the organization as well as operate these platforms. By doing this, you will perform administration tasks like setting up and maintaining gateways, managing the tenant settings, monitoring the system oversight, and providing support to our business users. You will help in the development and implementation of the support and service strategy that focuses on self-service and user-enablement by expanding the Power BI community and Info Hub, establishing the Center of Excellence for Microsoft Fabric and Analytics Enablement, utilizing AI and Copilot capabilities, creating user trainings, and offering workflow and process automation. You will enable the different support levels and stakeholders with guidelines and best practices to build a strong and efficient support. Additionally, you will create training materials, guidelines, and best practices for the different support levels and to build a strong and efficient support team. Besides this, you will support in the conception and technical implementation of strategic data platform projects and driving further the platform regarding our Data & Analytics strategy. Furthermore, you will work with the business to enable them to build suitable and scalable data products based on our Big Data Analytics Platform, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform. Support in the coordination of the developments within the team and coordination of projects will be also part of your job.

A university degree, preferably computer science, natural sciences, or engineering, paired with a passion for data platforms

Professional experience in managing and administrating Fabric and Power BI across an organization (including Power BI Report Server)

Passion for empowering and mentoring of business users to foster the analytics and data culture at ZEISS

Expertise in developing and adapting self-service, support, and training concepts to the organization

Strong skills and innate interest in transforming, improving, and automating business processes

Natural curiosity and first experience in utilizing AI and Copilots in business to create improvements and efficiencies

Experience in other Microsoft Power Platform Services e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse

Know-how and passion to adapt the Microsoft technology and governance to the organization

Good communication skills and the ability in analyzing business needs together with various stakeholders

Strong capabilities in analytical thinking and designing relevant concepts based on technologies

Passion in exploring new technologies as well as advancing data platforms and data products

Open-minded, flexible and interest in working in an Agile-Team

Fluent English skills; advanced German language skills would be a plus
