We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source for Fabrication and Hook Up Lead specialising in offshore compression. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please see details below:

Title: Fabrication and Hook Up Lead
Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice)
Duration: 36 months (potential for extension)
Location: Onshore (site based)
Working Schedule: 6-days per week / 10 hours per day


Job Purpose: To support the Head of Fabrication and Hook Up COMP1 in executing the Onshore Fabrication and Hook Up activities at Offshore within the NFPS Compression Project.   Deliver project execution with focus on Fabrication of Subsea Skids, Concrete Sleepers, Steel Bridges and Topside Hook UP’s in order to contribute to the successful execution and timely completion of the project.
Key Accountabilities: Report’s to Head of Fabrication and Hook up COMP1 Support the Head of Fabrication and Hook Up COMP1. Provides technical and constructability and completions input in works execution Responsible for assuring contractual / technical requirements are met as per AGREEMENT with EPC CONTRACTOR Ability to read and comment on construction documents, engineering specifications, design reports, data sheets and comment if necessary to be in line with project specific requirements. Makes decisions and solves problems related to a specific discipline/field Ability to develop procedures for execution and ensures alignment with stakeholders Working with the COMPANY / CONTRACTOR and interfacing with other teams to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time. Provide timely review of review of CONTRACTOR’s documents/deliverables. Attend and contributes into the project main reviews including project risk sessions such as What-If, HAZID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, Constructability Reviews, SIMOPS.


Knowledge and/or Experience: Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred. High Diploma with supporting experience may be considered. Fifteen (15) years broad experience in execution of major oil & gas projects, including at least 10 years of relevant experience involvement in project offshore execution within an Oil and Gas environment including experience with both offshore and onshore facilities.  Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education.  Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and Onshore and Offshore Construction, testing and completions International experience, especially in Qatar or the Middle East, is preferred.
