Assist in the daily fabrication of Glass products; handling, cutting, polishing glass.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Properly moving glass from one area of the plant to the other; potentially utilizing the help of overhead crane(s) Scoring glass with CNC cutting table or by hand Responsible for the input of detailed specifications for precise machining Responsible for communicating incomplete, damaged, or incorrect work to supervisor Lifting and handling glass Ensuring glass meets quality standard through the workflow Keeping work area clean and free from debris Gaining knowledge of machinery in order to perform maintenance or adjust when necessary Maintaining a positive attitude Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience required Must be capable of learning machinery used in moving and scoring glass Must be capable of standing for long periods of time Must be capable of repeatedly lifting 50lbs High school diploma or GED

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position works in a glass manufacturing plant and Is exposed to Glass cutting and glass lifting equipment.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lifting 25lbs to 50lbs throughout the day on a continuous basis throughout the day Is required.
