Job Title: Fabrication Associate
Job Description

Perform precise assembly of fluid systems using Swagelok components such as tubing, fittings, valves, regulators, and manifolds per provided technical drawings, work instructions, and quality guidelines. Execute fabrication tasks including tube cutting, bending, and more to exact specifications. Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment, such as orbital welders, tube benders, and pressure testing systems.

ResponsibilitiesPerform precise assembly of fluid systems using Swagelok components.Execute fabrication tasks including tube cutting and bending to exact specifications.Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment.Conduct tests on completed assemblies, including functionality, pressure and leak testing.Inspect assemblies to identify and correct fabrication issues.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment.Accurately document fabrication steps, materials used, and test results.Communicate progress, challenges, and insights to supervisors and team members.Work closely with the Custom Solutions Manager, engineers, and other key stakeholders.Assist in training new team members on proper fabrication techniques and safety protocols.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredProficiency with hand tools and measuring equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and manual dexterityAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred but not requiredWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This position plays a critical role in our Custom Solutions department. The Custom Solutions Technician is responsible for the hands-on fabrication and assembly of custom fluid system solutions designed to meet customer specifications. This role requires expertise in working with Swagelok components while upholding the quality that Swagelok is known for. This position collaborates closely with the rest of the Custom Solutions team to ensure adherence to stringent quality and safety standards that set us apart.

This is a Permanent position based out of Henrico, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $45000.00
