Pay of $25.00 - $27.00 based on experience Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Temp-to-hire opportunity Health Benefits Opportunity for Advancement Dental Insurance Paid Time Off What We’re Looking For: 2–3 years of experience in machine shop operation High school diploma or equivalent - preferred Vocational training in machine shop operations - preferred Experience operating lathes, mills, and grinders Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficient with measuring instruments and capable of performing precise calculations Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols Willingness to work in other areas or departments as needed Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills Clear communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong time management and task prioritization skills What You’ll Do as a Fabrication Operator: Set up and operate lathes, mills, and grinders to manufacture parts Follow blueprints, specifications, and instructions to meet required tolerances Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as needed Inspect parts using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers Report deviations from specifications and implement corrective actions Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication Report mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel Follow all workplace safety standards and best practices Support and promote a safe working environment Assist in training new operators when needed Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
