Underground Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Fabrication Shop Manager.

Underground Solutions, a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions, is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in the water infrastructure and electrical conduit market with a portfolio of proprietary and patented technologies targeting water and wastewater infrastructure improvement and undergrounding of electrical conduit.

Responsible for Shop Management, Inventory and Managing a team of fabricators and welders for WEKO Seal product line

Ensure the best efficiency timely completion and shipping of finished product

Perform repairs and maintenance on fabrication equipment to include hydraulics, electrical, robotics, and other components

Perform fabrication equipment evaluation and testing, using measuring and diagnostic devices to adjust, test, and repair equipment

Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical problems as needed

Consistently deliver knowledge, advice, and answer questions and concerns

Communicate and maintain good relations with vendors and customers

Provide frequent progress reports in order to improve results

Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and laws

Help train new employees in company procedures, including safety and work processes

Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools and/or processes

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent required

3 years of Fabrication Shop Management experience including experience training, motivating and leading a team and collaborate effectively with coworkers

5 years of welding and fabrication experience

Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical

Proficient in the use of online systems and computer software

Ability to read, analyze interpret, understand, and follow electrical wiring diagrams and schematics, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
