Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Entry-level or Associate Fabrication Specialist to join the team based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs machine set-up, machining, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasksPerforms composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasksAssembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical componentsAssembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trainsPerform soldering on electronic and avionics productsAssembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics productsPrepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various testsPerforms basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparationApplies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirementsWorks on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experienceAbility to work any shift based on the needs of the operationAbility to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data

Summary pay range | Entry-Level (Level A): $48,000 - $49,000

Summary pay range | Associate (Level B): $54,000 - $64,000
