What You Will Do:

Work with plastic (PVC, CPVC), carbon and stainless-steel piping and sheet goods to assemble interconnecting piping between vessels, pumps, and valvesFabricate and assemble equipment based on mechanical drawingsRoute and terminate wires based on electrical drawingsOperate industrial machining equipment such as a drill press, threader, cutters, sanders/grinders, and various types of sawsUse overhead crane and safe rigging and maneuvering of loads to support equipment assembly and prepare for shipment activitiesOperate a forklift and pallet jackOther duties as assigned

Position Details:

Plant location: Glenwood, ILWork week and shift: Monday - Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM, OT eligibleCompensation package offered: $28.00 / hour, depending on experience

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent5 years of experience in an equipment assembly-related assignment5 years of experience in a pipefitting assignmentExperience using hand and power tools and basic size/weight measuring devicesNo Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity

Physical Demands:

This position requires regularly lifting and carrying 50lbsAs a pre-requisite, this position requires a passing drug screen and physical examPerforming confined space entry

Preferred Qualifications:

Skilled trade degree or certificationMaintenance or mechanic experienceExperience safely rigging and loading/unloading systems or component partsExperience operating forklifts and pallet jacksAbility to wire simple circuitry and perform point-to-point terminationsAbility to work in a shop environment (dust, noise, odors)Good communication skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawingsBasic computer skills (i.e., data entry, internet, email, etc.)

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$24.00 - $30.00 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
