Ferguson is now hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Fabrication Supervisor!

Schedule: M-F 6:00am-4:00pm (OT possible)

Position Details:Reports to Branch ManagerDirect oversight of 3 associates

Responsibilities:Supervise and work closely with associates to meet safety, production, and quality expectationsFollow all established standard operating procedures for pipe fabricationSet up and maintain machines in the Fab ShopAccurately measure, record, and add random pipe lengthMeasure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torchFollow proper procedures for rolling and grooving single and double random lengthsThread and bevel pipe with landis machinesMove loose and /or bundled pipeAssemble pipe orders whether in single sticks or bundles and maintain work supplies in an organized mannerObserve vital safety precautions for fabrications, cutting, assembling, stacking and shipping of pipe for storage and transportationOperate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating proceduresEnsure pedestrian safety by maintaining a safe rate of speed in all areas while operating equipmentMaintain clearance of equipment to avoid impacts and damage to product or propertyInspect and maintain all forklift equipment in functional conditionCollaborate with management and other associates to resolve any task concerns that ariseMaintain inventory integrity and product safety at all timesCross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed

Qualifications:3 years or more experience in fabrication, pipe fittings, welding, or related experience is requiredPrior leadership, management, or supervisory experience is a plusAdvance knowledge and skills of a specific area with understanding of external factors that may affect own areaAbility to provide expert advice, coaching, and counseling within particular areaPossess good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a teamDemonstrate superior math skills, ability to calculate quantities of product on handPrevious training in the use of machines for cutting and threading pipeKnowledge of safe work practices required in the pipe yardAbility to remain results-focused in the fast-paced customer service environment

$19.47 - $42.31

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
