Summary/Objective: This position will perform duties required to meet production demands. This will include set-up and operating various CNC machines, laser machines, in-process inspection and cleaning operations required in the manufacturing of steel fabrication for automotive products. This position will report to Operations Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities: Attend to and operate machines Clean parts, touch up parts, and may require re-work of parts Read and interpret written instruction Complete appropriate paperwork, log sheets, forms, charts and quality assessments Communicate with and assist other co-workers in the area Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by lead Follow all safety precautions and use protective equipment as required Measure product to production specifications Maintain and follow good housekeeping standards to meet company objectives Perform routine quality checks, both written and oral Perform other duties as assigned To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time hourly position working a minimum of 40 hours a week. Days are set to the schedule of which you elect with your hiring leader.
