**Job Title: Fabricator**
**Job Description**
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and building of custom hydraulic power units, lube systems, and custom machinery. Your tasks will include painting custom hydraulic power units and pieces, hydraulic system assembly, plumbing, and testing. You will attach all components to build from scratch and rebuild hydraulic press sections for machines, as well as custom testing equipment for various clients.
**Responsibilities**
+ Fabricate and build custom hydraulic power units, lube systems, and custom machinery.
+ Paint custom hydraulic power units and pieces.
+ Assemble, plumb, and test hydraulic systems.
+ Attach all components to build from scratch.
+ Rebuild hydraulic press sections for machines and custom testing equipment.
+ Cut out custom parts on a small plasma table or bend on a press brake.
+ Route and plumb all types of hydraulic and other fluid-moving hoses, including clamping and cutting to size.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to weld using both MIG and TIG techniques on steel and some aluminum.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints to build custom items.
+ Experience in assembling, manufacturing, and fabricating hydraulic systems.
+ Ability to use basic hand tools such as sockets, wrenches, and other hand tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with machine building and welding.
+ Knowledge of assembling fluid power systems.
+ Capability to work independently and meet estimated build times and deadlines.

**Work Environment**
Work in a manufacturing facility equipped with central air but cool during the winter. The products are greasy, so candidates' clothes will get dirty. Steel-toed boots are required. You will be part of a small team of 5-7 people in the warehouse, with 4-5 in customer support-sales roles up front. The main goal is to meet estimated build times for machines, with the average machine taking 20-25 hours to build from scratch over 2-3 days. Work hours are Monday to Friday with a little flexibility.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, North Dakota.
