Job Description
The Fabricator will be responsible for fitting, laying out, prepping, and assembling Nuclear Tanks, Missile Tanks, and Bases for military and nuclear equipment in a heavy manufacturing setting.

Work Environment
This role is in a facility that manufactures large holding tanks for nuclear waste and large parts for Navy submarines. The environment includes large parts and machines, with parts moved by overhead cranes and weighing up to 138 tons. The shop is an older, non-climate-controlled facility, and can be dusty and dirty. Safety gear, including a work uniform, safety glasses, steel-toe boots with metatarsal covers, and ear protection, will be provided. The workforce consists of 250 employees across two shifts, and this is a union facility. All positions start on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3:40 PM to midnight, with overtime as required.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63252.80 - $63252.80/yr.
Extremely generous Benefits package with great health care discussed at interview. Typically option for $1000 or $2500 deductible and pay about $40/pay for the coverage.
PTO - 700 hours = 1 week, 1 year = 2 weeks
Benefits: Medical/Vision coverage, effective 30 days of employment Dental/Life coverage, effective 90 days of employment Long-term Disability coverage, effective 1-year employment
Holidays: 11 holidays, and you will eligible for holiday after you are employed for 30 calendar days.
Paid Excused Absence: You will be eligible for 8 hours of paid excused absence after 90 days of employment. This amount will then increase to 16 hours at the beginning of the year following your start date. Then up to 24 hours the following year and ever year after that.
Pension: Administered by Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC)
