The Fabricator will be responsible for fitting, joining, and fabricating portable pumping units and accessories by applying precise measurement and advanced welding techniques. Additionally, the Fabricator will rework finished products to ensure top-notch quality. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Adhere to all XDS and OSHA safety standards, procedures, and regulations, including participating in daily safety/toolbox meetings. + Safely move machinery and equipment using forklifts, cranes, hoists, dollies, and rollers. + Efficiently dismantle and assemble pumping units and accessories. + Perform MIG and stick welding on milled and stainless/carbon steel components according to layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions. + Inspect and correct welds to meet product specifications and ensure quality. + Utilize laser equipment to align shafts accurately. + Collaborate effectively with co-workers in the production of multi-component parts and large units. + Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain optimal functionality. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, completing housekeeping duties as assigned or required. **Requirements:** + Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other heavy equipment. + Strong welding skills, particularly in MIG and stick welding. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders. + Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. + Excellent teamwork and communication skills. + Adherence to safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.
