Job Title: **Entry Level Fabricator** Job Type: **Full time; temp-to-hire** _12 months_ Schedule: **Onsite;** 1st shift Location: **Piney Flats, TN** Pay: **$18.00-$21.50 per hour** JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will perform fabrication of parts for Aeronautical Accessories manufacturing. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: + Perform fabrication tasks with general supervision + Ensure proper part identification and/or record S/N for plastics and windows manufactured with limited assistance + Perform 1st piece inspection with general supervision + Operate various machines in fabrication department when required, to include vacuum machine and ovens with assistance + Operate forklift as required + Beyond the scope of normal assembly (installing rivets and assembling small components), this position may assist with the fabrication of High Visibility Doors, testing Rescue Hoist, assembling Emergency Float Kits, and other extensive / technical assembly operations. + Other duties as assigned EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School or GED Position Requirements: 2-4 years of experience related to job duties SKILLS: + Ability to perform basic fabrication duties (i.e. sawing, sanding, trimming, routing, cleaning and bonding) + Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and work instructions + Familiarity and experience with basic measuring equipment and hand tools related to job duties + Ability to detect and resolve errors with limited supervision + Ability to operate forklift safely PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Forklift operation experience may be a plus WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: + Ability to wear all required PPE specific to job duties (may include respiratory equipment) + Ability to operate basic hand tools and departmental equipment safely and efficiently in order to perform assigned job duties + Ability to stand and sit stationary for several hours at a time + Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis + Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $21.50 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
