Summary Maintains and cares for hospital grounds year round including, parking areas, entrances, exits, drives, walks, retention ponds/basins, irrigation systems, lawns, flower beds and all plant life. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of grounds keeping equipment such as mowers, tractors, trucks, utility vehicles and miscellaneous equipment. Responsible for snow and ice removal on campus during all hours of hospital operation. Education Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with GED Licensure/Certification Valid state driver’s license is required Experience Two years experience in grounds related field preferred. Other Qualifications Demonstrates a working knowledge of mechanics, plumbing, electrical theory, and basic safety processes.
