Position Summary:
As a member of the lean enterprise team, the Lean Facilitator is responsible for conducting and managing lean events at their site or in their function.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Conducting and managing lean events at the site or function
• Identifies goals at event level and acts as a change agent
• Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems; applies limited judgment and discretion. • Responds to standard requests from internal and external customers and develops rapport with others • Communicates information, asks questions and checks for understanding
• Works within limited technical guidelines and direction to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
Education: High school diploma
Experience: 1+ year experience
Skills/Knowledge: Familiar with lean concepts and tools. (Kaizen, 5s value stream mapping, etc.).. Demonstrates understanding of basic business and industry concepts. Understands patterns and trends in data.
