Facilitator of the Youth Education Series – Part Time
Job Summary: As the Learning Facilitator of the Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) Programs, you will be the primary Disney representative for local and international student groups, delivering engaging and educational experiences at Hong Kong Disneyland. Your role will focus on creating a fun and informative environment that inspires curiosity and fosters learning among participants. Responsibilities: • Facilitate 3-hour educational or leisure programs for various youth groups in outdoor settings around the park, ranging from Kindergarten to post-secondary students.
• Ensure that program quality meets Disney Guest Services standards.
• Coordinate program materials and provide logistical support as necessary.
• Gather feedback and prepare post-program evaluations. Basic Qualifications: • Proven experience in program facilitation, including teaching, tutoring, or leading outdoor activities (e.g., as a tour guide, teacher, or private tutor).
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic and enthusiastic, with the ability to actively engage youth groups of varying ages and manage crowd control while overseeing students in the park.
• Adaptable and flexible in leading programs to meet diverse learning needs and respond to dynamic situations.
• Positive mindset towards preparation and training, with a readiness to understand and confidently facilitate program content.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with other facilitators and cast members. Preferred Qualifications: • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua is preferred (non-Chinese speaking candidates are welcome).
• Background in science or related disciplines is advantageous. Additional Information: • Sessions are 4 hours each, with a maximum of 2 sessions per day.
• Interested candidates should be available for at least 3 sessions during weekdays, as programs are typically scheduled during this time.
• Candidates with flexible schedules are preferred to accommodate program training needs.
