Facilitator-Security

The Facilitator-Security will provide front-line guidance and direction to the Security Officers on designated shift. Provides safety and security services to ensure the well-being of both people and property by patrolling assigned areas and enforcing rules and regulations. Works closely with the director/manager to plan, implement, and facilitate the work activity of the unit to accomplish goals and objectives.
Education QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED or related vocational training is required College level coursework in law enforcement of equivalent is preferred. Experience QualificationsThree years in security, law enforcement or equivalent experience is required. Healthcare and/or hospital experience is preferred. Knowledge of private security function obtained through education or work experience; i.e. military, public safety or fire department preferred. Must be willing to obtain additional training in the field as circumstances dictate. Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsValid state driver’s license and must be insurable to operate hospital vehicles is required. International Association for Hospital Security (IAHSS) Certification is preferred. Successfully complete Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Certification within the first 90 days of employment is preferred, if applicable.

Pay Range:

$19.00 - $27.55

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
