Facilities AdministratorJob Description:
The facilities administrator has overall event maintenance and janitorial responsibilities for Co|Lab and The Shed. This position works Tuesday through Saturday and reports to the warehouse manager. The administrator assists the warehouse manager and facilities manager with warehouse administration, including data entry in ToolWatch inventory management to ensure periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) level janitorial supplies at all local HITT properties. The administrator is responsible for the cleanliness of the fleet reserve and warehouse vehicles and is available to take vehicles to the shop if needed.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Adminidtration
On a weekly basis and in coordination with Human Resources, is responsible for sending PPE to new team members in regional offices
Logs rentals, sales, and returns into ToolWatch, HITT’s tool management system, and brings any discrepancies to the attention of the warehouse manager
Fleet Maintenance
Runs vehicles regularly to ensure they are operational and notifies fleet manager if any trouble lights come on
In the absence of drivers, takes vehicles to the automotive shop for repairs, inspections, emission tests, etc.
Facilities Support
At the direction of the warehouse manager or facilities manager, and with other team members, sets up The HITT Way for all scheduled meetings and events at headquarters
As directed by the facilities manager, hangs and removes office and cube signatures
Responsible for all janitorial needs and supplies at Co|Lab and the Shed, including floor care, trash, and compost removal, interior glass cleaning, carpet cleaning, restroom sanitizing, and metal maintenance
Notifies facilities manager of needed repairs at Co|Lab and the Shed
Saturday Coverage (5:00 am – 1 pm)
Opens the warehouse from 5:00 am – 7:00 am to provide support to Site Workforce team members who may need materials, rentals, or be returning equipment; during this time administrator logs orders and inventories tools, supplies, and equipment
Resets the HITT Way after Red Bucket; brings popcorn machine and coolers downstairs and empties, cleans, and dries the coolers
Goes to the post office, retrieves mail, and places the mail on the production counter
Visits Co|Lab and walks building for leaks. Refreshes meeting room and open space as needed
Qualifications
2-3 year’s janitorial experience with knowledge of green products, preferably a Class A building
1-2 year’s general office maintenance and repair experience
Experience driving pick-up trucks and vans
Software proficiency—able to adapt to and learn how to use project-specific software systems, including:
Microsoft Office suite (ex. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
ToolWatch
JD Edwards
Spanish speaker preferred
OSHA 10-hour certification
Forklift operator certification
