As a Facilities and Equipment Co-ordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities. Led by the Facilities and Equipment Supervisor, you will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing preventative maintenance, responding to urgent service requests and overseeing third-party contractors. Your efforts will contribute to optimizing our operational efficiency and maintaining budget accuracy. This is a term position until April 2026.

 

Shift Available:

Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

 

Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how: 

Plan and manage monthly maintenance schedules, while maintaining an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies for all equipment.Maintain records to comply with health and safety requirements Track requisitions, invoices, and report on costs versus budget using available software tools. Oversee maintenance programs conducted by third-party contractors, ensuring adherence to contract terms.  Provide input to help develop maintenance budgets, schedules, and best practices for preventative care. Monitor and report on both preventative maintenance and on-demand KPIs to ensure performance standards are met.Assist in managing facilities and equipment activities during Supervisors/Manager absences.Provide hands-on support to operators during critical maintenance and repairs and/or absences.

 

We’re looking for:

A background in facility coordination or a relevant trade designation.Experience in processing orders, tracking invoices, and managing maintenance-related financials.Strong computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and computerized maintenance software.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.A proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and apply industry principles of preventative maintenance.Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
