FACILITY APPERANCE AGENT!

Our Facilities Appearance is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and visual appeal of airport facilities, including terminals, lounges, restrooms, and public areas. This role involves tasks like sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for passengers and staff. In this position you must comply with strict cleaning protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment, while also being mindful of environmental and safety guidelines. Additionally, you are responsible for promptly addressing any cleaning issues or hazards reported by airport users, contributing to the overall positive experience of those utilizing the airport facilities.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS A FACILITY APPERANCE AGENT

* Maintain cleanliness and appearance of airport facilities, including terminals, lounges, restrooms, and public areas
* Handling laundry tasks in an airport environment, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding
* Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
* Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies or spills to ensure safety and cleanliness
* Monitor and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and kept in hygienic condition
* Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
* Inspect facilities for maintenance issues and report any damages or repairs needed
* Assist with the setup and teardown of displays, furniture, and equipment for events or special arrangements
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning coverage
* Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with directions and information
* Participate in training sessions on new cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting when restocking is needed
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of cleaning and maintenance practices
* Handle and dispose of waste and recyclables in an environmentally responsible manner
* Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times in the public-facing airport environment
* May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

* 18 years of age or older
* Eligible to work in the United States
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
* Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
* Effectively communicate both in-person and through electronic means
* Pass a background check and drug screen
* Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
* Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation
