Facilities Assistant Senior

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the waste treatment system. Assist in performing on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and repair of our facility infrastructure Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues Advise supervisor regarding equipment requirements, equipment performance, and suggestions for equipment improvements Project plan and manage maintenance-related projects. Track critical facility equipment “uptime.” Maintain critical spare parts Assist production Lab repair/needs as required to support manufacturing

Required Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical maintenance. Ability to perform routine, scheduled maintenance work such as mechanical, electrical, and property repairs. Assist in analysis of maintenance problems, determine the cause of the issues, and repair or offer possible solutions. Knowledge of safety procedures required in maintenance and repair work. Ability to safely and adequately use power and manual hand tools. Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated heights; Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; Ability to walk long distances around the property; move up to 50 lbs.; Ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain working relationships with customers. Skill in using personal computers, office equipment, and mobile electronics. CA Driver License

 Preferred Qualifications:

0-3 years of experience with general maintenance and repair including plumbing and electrical repair. Self-Starter and able to work closely with a team as well as work independently Excellent written and verbal communications Command of written and spoken English Willing to be on ERT (Emergency Response Team) Chemical / Hazardous Waste handling experience is a plus Other duties as required

Education and Work Experience:

High School diploma
