Job Title: Facilities Assistant for EMCOR at Stanford Health Care (SHC)

Job Summary:  The Facilities Assistant will spend their day driving around the 180+ sites in the Bay Area and expanding area to hang signage, help with distribution of ad hoc items.  As the Facilities Assistant you will be supporting the backbone of both the Facility Management team and Engineering & Maintenance team at Stanford Health Care. We’re looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic team-player who is ready and willing to take on any challenge thrown at them!  Must be able to have their own car with proof of CA insurance.  Mileage and gas will be reimbursed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drives to 180+ sites in the bay area to run errands for example:
o Assist with moving, transporting and installing signage, furniture, etc. as directed.
o Delivers parts, tools, HEPA filters, etc. as directed. Assist with setting up/taking down vaccine and testing sites. Ensures that facilities are set up and ready for all events. Responsible for securing the facilities when needed as well as basic clean-up. Assist the Facilities Manager in project implementation as needed. Assist facilities staff in locating parts, supplies, and materials. Maintains relationship with Facilities Managers Organizes and maintains equipment storage.

Must be a provider of excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver’s License Provide their own vehicle with proof of CA Insurance (will be reimbursed for gas and mileage)  Strong English and communication skills Knowledge of excel and PowerPoint a plus.

Physical Demands:

Able to lift 30 lbs. Standing, walking sitting, reaching

Compensation Range:  $30 - $33 / hr.

Other Compensation:  this is not bonus or commission applicable
