Facilities Associate - Utility Sweeper

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

Monitors all assigned areas throughout shift, sweeping and/or collecting any apparent waste Maintains cleanliness in all assigned areas, eliminating safety hazards Performs plant and yard maintenance as directed Performs miscellaneous duties as directed

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Be able to read, write, and speak English High School diploma, preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task Versatility and willingness to perform various tasks as necessary Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with other Team Members

Working conditions:

Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors Must wear protective equipment while in the plant

Physical requirements:

Requires walking, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to a high degree Heavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees as well as function safely around construction equipment
