GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Provide general cleaning and custodial care of buildings and work areas in order to create a hygienic and pleasant working environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean work areas including but not limited to Shops, Offices, Bathrooms, Break Rooms and Change Rooms Dust, mop floors, sanitize urinals and toilets Wash dishes/coffee pots Restock paper products and hand soap in restrooms Restock kitchen products, as necessary Replace light bulbs when necessary Remove waste and recycling containers Maintain sanitary conditions to ensure safety and cleanliness Operate cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and steam cleaners Use chemicals and other cleaning products safely and in accordance with instructions. Support for setup and cleanup after company events Run errands (administrative and picking up supplies) therefore must have a clear driving record and valid

TECHNICAL SKILLS and BEHAVIORAL ABILITIES

Ability to read and follow work guidelines Follow instructions Ability to work at varying heights Ability to utilize various cleaning equipment Knowledge of and ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment/tools in area of operation

EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent 1-2 years custodial experience preferred Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the custodial field
