Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Central Unit Plant (CUP) Coordinator to oversee and manage the mechanical maintenance aspects of our semiconductor facility. The ideal candidate will have the ability to coordinate and streamline processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance scheduling, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of mechanical assets. Monitor and evaluate system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.Ensure all mechanical and operational activities align with industry standards, safety laws, and company policies. Complete required safety training and adhere to safety protocols, including PPE, CoHE (lockout/tagout), and chemical safety procedures.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory. Prepare and present reports on how operations are performing to management.Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Collaborate with maintenance contractors to ensure effective and timely service execution.Lead quality improvement initiatives to reduce impacts, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings. Review facility designs and standards for compliance with manufacturer and company guidelines. Identify gaps and opportunities for efficiency, supporting a culture of Total Productive Management (TPM).Create and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Pre-Task Plans (PTP), Scopes of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and other relevant procedures to ensure safe and effective execution of work.Apply advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software to efficiently manage tasks, create professional documents and presentations, and support team operations through effective digital tools.Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.2+ years’ experience in mechanical coordination and operations management, preferably in a semiconductor facility or equivalent military experience.2+ years’ experience in mechanical systems, equipment, and processes used in semiconductor manufacturing.2+ years in a supervisory or coordinating role in semiconductor manufacturing.Preferred Requirements:
AAS or AS Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, related field of study, or equivalent military experience.Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.4+ years of experience in a HVAC environment. 4+ years in a supervisory or coordinating role in semiconductor manufacturing.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
