Summary Keeps premises of office building, including warehouses, in clean and orderly condition and assist with general maintenance by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Cleaning:
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, locker rooms, break rooms, and other work areas.Sweeps, mops, or vacuum floors.Dusts furniture and equipment.Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.Sanitize and wipe down sinks, countertops, bathroom fixtures, kitchen fixtures, mirrors and glass surfaces, toilets, and bathroom partitions.Clean and sanitize tabletops, refrigerators, microwaves, sinks, vending machines, and water coolers.Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, and paper towels.Washes windows, door panels, and sills.Regularly empties wastebaskets and sanitize receptacles.Transports trash and waste to disposal area.Replenishes bathroom supplies.Transports small equipment or tools between departments.Set up tables and chairs as needed for large meetings.Maintenance:
Cleans walls and guardrails with a three-month cycle.Check lights and replace any non-working light bulbs.General preventative maintenance which includes but is not limited to: oil and coolant changes and greasing of equipment.Remove any debris or hazards that are blocking any walkways.Shovels snow from walkways and apply salt to treat surfaces as needed.Clear the surrounding area and remove all leaves, litter, and other debris.Operate floor cleaner/scrubber.Help wipe down machinery.Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
