Position summary: The Facilities - PMCM department is searching for a Construction Safety and Health (CM-CHST) Professional to perform duties in Butler, PA.  The candidate shall have the capability to perform Construction Safety Reviews, monitoring a contractor’s adherence to standards in order to meet the safety, health and environmental requirements of the client.  Other requirements include the responsibility for identifying and mitigating hazards, implementing safety programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations. 

Essential functions and responsibilities

Investigate and document incidents, reporting incidents to medical management team and insurance carriers. Track and Trend incident and accident statistics and suggest mitigation strategies. Provide historical data for individual clients as needed for prequalification of contract and subcontract work. Assist in the creation of client-specific or project-specific safety plans as required. Monitor and inspect employee activities and worksites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and safe work practices, providing on-the-spot safety coaching as needed. Consult with supervisors and workers on the practical application of safety principles, practices, or techniques in the field.
