Facilities Coordinator

We are a full-service distributor of Generac equipment and solutions providing sales, service and rentals. **Major Responsibilities** + Load and unload equipment. + Refill gasoline, oil and other liquids for the Field Service Technicians as required. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop area and building grounds. + Maintain cleanliness and preparation of shop vehicles and trailers. + Follow established expectations for communicating with Dispatch throughout the day regarding updates and next assignments. + Work cohesively with internal and external customers to ensure complete satisfaction with time and service. + Train and educate customers on use of equipment and value of products and services provided. **Minimum Job Requirements** **Education** + High School Diploma or equivalent **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities** + Strong attention to detail + Ability to work independently and make decisions with little guidance in a fast-paced environment + Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, and diagram form + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Strong commitment to customer service + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook + Maintain a valid Driver’s License **Physical Requirements and Working Conditions** **_Physical Demands:_** While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, crouch and bend for extended periods of time. The employee is required to operate a computer, machinery, tools, vehicles, and industrial equipment and must have the ability to use hands to move, set up, adjust, assemble, control, test, operate, or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to constantly communicate and exchange information with team members and must be able to effectively communicate correct information with vendors. The employee is required to read/comprehend, write, communicate orally, reasoning and analytical abilities, and mental flexibility. The employee frequently move objects up to 50 pounds. The company recommends a two person or assisted lift for objects over 50 pounds. **_Work Environment:_** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working in and around the facility. The employee will occasionally work within confined spaces performing duties of the position. The employee will regularly have exposure to hazardous materials, gas combustible engines, high voltage output equipment, and proximity to moving mechanical parts. Performing the duties of this job requires wearing common protective and safety equipment. The employee will have exposure to sound and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable, as well as exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by weather. This position may involve extended work hours and occasional travel to customer or company locations. **Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
