Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Santa Clara, California. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of the facility while addressing maintenance needs efficiently. This position requires hands-on expertise in various maintenance tasks, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting systems. Responsibilities: • Monitor the facility regularly to ensure it remains secure, safe, and well-maintained. • Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical systems, power systems, and controls. • Perform routine maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and preventative upkeep as required. • Replace lighting components such as bulbs and ballasts to maintain proper illumination. • Coordinate and manage vendor services to ensure timely and quality work. • Relocate office furniture, machinery, and equipment as needed to support operational needs. • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues promptly. • Assist in managing HVAC systems and ensuring optimal performance. • Provide support for other facility-related tasks as directed. Requirements • Strong interpersonal skills paired with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. • Basic knowledge of tools and machinery, including their design, usage, and maintenance. • Familiarity with vendor management and coordination. • Experience with troubleshooting power systems and mechanical equipment. • Proficiency in preventative maintenance and carpentry. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in facilities management or maintenance.
