Description
We are looking for a driven and kind hearted facilities coordinator to work on a part time basis in the West Des Moines area. This is a long-term contract to hire position that offers an opportunity to contribute to a variety of administrative and office support tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude in managing day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
+ Greeting and Welcoming: Serve as the first point of contact by warmly greeting visitors and staff as they arrive at the office, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
+ Vendor Communication: Act as the liaison between the company and external vendors, coordinating services and maintaining effective communication to ensure smooth operations.
+ Lunch Coordination: Organize staff lunches, including placing meal orders, managing dietary requirements, and ensuring timely delivery every day.
+ Lunch Area Maintenance: Clean up and maintain the lunch areas after mealtimes to ensure a tidy and hygienic environment.
+ Fridge Stocking: Regularly stock and organize the office fridge with beverages and food supplies, ensuring inventory is sufficient and up to date.
+ Supply Ordering: Manage and order supplies for the kitchen, office, and bathrooms, ensuring all areas are adequately stocked with necessary items.
+ Customer Service Support: Provide exceptional service to both internal staff and external visitors, addressing questions and concerns with a friendly and professional demeanor.
