Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of a new and growing disability services portfolio under the Department of Communities and Justice contract. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure contract compliance across sites.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Parramatta, with regular travel to other NSW locations. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality facilities services while contributing to the successful rollout of a new government initiative.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for the contract’s management office and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders
- Manage and allocate maintenance requests via CMMS and ensure timely completion of work orders in line with KPIs
- Support the Operations and Facilities Managers with financial, procurement, and contract compliance tasks
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure OHS&E standards and regulatory compliance are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to monthly reporting and continual service improvement
Education, Experience & Skills
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities coordination or property operations, preferably in a government or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High-level organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of OHS&E policies, QA systems, and environmental standards
Desirable:
- Trade or facilities-related qualifications
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience with procurement and contractor documentation processes

This is a full-time, on-site role based primarily in Parramatta with travel across other NSW locations as required.
