Purpose of the Role

BGIS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to provide on-the-ground support at a secure, government aligned site located in Aldavilla. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring maintenance requests, compliance, subcontractor performance, and customer needs are managed efficiently and effectively.

This is a full-time, onsite position - ideal for someone who values stability, meaningful work, and long-term job security in a respected and essential services environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be

- Process-driven and solutions-focused with excellent coordination skills.
- Comfortable working within structured compliance and asset management systems (CMMS).
- A confident communicator, with the ability to collaborate with contractors, client stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Resilient and adaptable, especially in a high-demand, sensitive operational setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the first point of contact for site maintenance and service issues.
- Manage work orders using CMMS and allocate tasks to meet compliance and KPI expectations.
- Coordinate service delivery with subcontractors and ensure WHS documentation is in place.
- Support the Facilities Manager with budgeting, reporting, inspections, and contract compliance.
- Maintain after-hours service coverage processes and documentation compliance.

Education, Experience & Skills


Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities, asset, or property coordination.
- Knowledge of building systems, statutory compliance, and contractor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS (e.g., Manhattan).
- A high level of communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Experience in secure or government facilities highly regarded.

Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management or related field.
- OH&S training, First Aid certification.
