As the Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management of the daily activities of the facilities repair and maintenance. Coordinating resources and vendors to properly maintain our assets according to our standards, quality, and safety.
What you will do in this job:
Primary point of contract for all work order requests to include but not limited to work order assignment, vendor management assistance, needs assessment, quality control, and invoice submittal for maintenance and repair work ordersManagement of the daily maintenance and repair activities of vendorsPoint of contact for security related issues and systems (key system, cameras, access control)Assist with continuous improvement of maintenance and repair processes, policies and procedures, and standard operating proceduresMaintain vendor relations, establishing quality, safety, and delivery expectations. Coordinating resources for repair and maintenance activitiesAssist with coordinating the scope, schedule, and budget for facilities capital maintenance and repair activities, including submission and management of capital funding requests Assist with quality control for all facilities maintenance and repair activities Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers and suppliersAct as subject matter expert to challenge and offer alternatives for solutions to improve operations and/or experiencesAct as a backup for the system administrator of the maintenance management systemRespond to after-hours facilities related emergencies and/or issues, as neededTravel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
Our ideal candidate:
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience2-3 years facilities related work experienceAbility to define problems, and resolve them quicklyAbility to interact effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization Strong knowledge of established construction and maintenance practices, procedures and techniques as well as applicable local, state and federal building codes
